Five easy plans

What would you enjoy?

Pick the ones that sound like you. Members who choose the same plans and days are the ones you’ll see.

An invitation, not an event

Make an invitation card

Choose a plan and a day, add your city if you like, and share the card with a friend or on your story. Nothing is saved or sent to Paire. It’s just an idea to offer someone. Paire doesn’t host, book or guarantee a meet-up.

Chai & mithai, anyone? No city added

Kind, careful, yours

Made to be gentle.

  • Joining is voluntary

Off by default, and you can leave in one tap. Nothing else about your profile changes.

  • Matches are mutual only

Nobody can message you out of the blue. You both have to like each other first.

  • Public places, private details

Meet where there are people, and never share a home address. Paire never asks for it.

  • Block and report stay free

Safety controls are always one tap away, whatever you’ve paid for.

Questions

Good to know.

What is Diwali Together?

Diwali Together is a voluntary edition of Paire for adults celebrating Diwali away from home. You choose up to three days and up to three simple plans, such as chai and mithai, a mela stroll, a lights walk, a café meal or going to a Diwali bash. Paire then shows you other members nearby who chose a matching day and plan. You only match when you both like each other.

Is Paire organising Diwali events?

No. Paire does not host, book or run events, and it does not guarantee that anyone will be available. Diwali Together helps individual adults find each other. Any meeting is arranged by the people involved, in a public place of their choosing.

When can I use it?

Diwali Together is open from 24 October to 10 November 2026, India time. The planning days are 5 to 10 November. Diwali itself falls on Sunday 8 November 2026 according to India Post's holiday list. After 10 November it closes and Paire returns to normal.

Is it free?

Joining Diwali Together, seeing people who share your plans, matching, and the invitation card maker are free. As elsewhere on Paire, sending messages needs your own Paire Plus pass or the ₹70 Unlimited Chat option. Existing prices and daily like limits are unchanged.

Who can see my days and plans?

Only members who also chose Diwali Together, are in your area and share at least one day and one plan with you. They see a count of shared days and the plans you share, never your exact days. Nobody sees your address or anything about your living situation, and Paire never asks for it.

What is a Diwali bash?

It is a label for members who are going to a Diwali party or get-together and would like company. It groups people with the same plan so you can find each other. Paire does not host or vet these parties. Chat first, go only if you feel comfortable, and tell a friend where you are going.

What if nobody matches my plans?

That can happen, especially early on or outside big cities. Paire never shows made-up profiles or promises matches. You can keep your plans on and check back, change your days, or share the invitation card with someone you know.

Is it safe to meet someone?

Choose a public place, tell a friend your plans, get yourself there and home, and keep your address private. You can block and report anyone from their profile or chat at no cost. Read Paire's safety guide before you meet.

Who can join?

Any adult aged 18 or over who would enjoy some company this Diwali. Paire never asks where or with whom you live, and there is no label or badge for it.

Spend Diwali with good company.

Open now through 10 November, IST. Diwali Together is optional, free to join, and for adults 18 and over.

Diwali matching is private and opt-in inside the app. We don’t show who has joined, and we can’t promise matches, since it depends on who is in your area and available on your dates. Messaging works as it does in Paire today.
