Back to PaireCommunity Guidelines
Paire works when everyone feels safe to be themselves. These rules apply to profiles, photos and messages. Breaking them can get your content removed or your account banned.
Be real
- You must be 18 or older.
- Use your own name and photos that clearly show you. No impersonation, fake or duplicate accounts.
Be respectful
- No harassment, bullying, threats, stalking or unwanted sexual messages.
- No hate speech or attacks based on caste, religion, race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, disability or health.
- "No" means no. If someone unmatches or stops replying, move on.
Keep it appropriate
- No nudity, sexually explicit or violent content.
- No illegal content, drugs, weapons or content that promotes self-harm.
Casual connections
Adults can tell Paire privately that they're open to a one-night stand. It's only shown to people who turned it on too, and it never replaces consent.
- Consent comes first, every time, and can be withdrawn at any point. "No" ends the conversation.
- Being open to something casual is not an invitation for explicit messages or photos.
- No paid or transactional sex, escort services or solicitation of any kind.
- Age-gap dating is welcome; paid arrangements are not. No allowances, "sugar" deals or money or gifts in return for dates or company.
- Meet in a public place first and tell a friend where you'll be. The Safety Center can remind you to check in.
No scams or selling
- Never ask members for money, gifts, investments, OTPs or bank details.
- No advertising, promotions, escort services or links to paid content.
Protect privacy
- Do not share anyone else's personal information, photos or messages without consent.
Duos and group chats
- Only team up with a friend who wants to; either of you can leave the Duo at any time.
- In a Duo chat, treat everyone the way you'd want your friend to be treated. Ganging up on, pressuring or excluding someone is harassment.
- Don't share screenshots of a Duo chat or anyone's profile outside Paire without their consent.
- Plan meetups for everyone in public places. Anyone can leave the chat, report or block at any time, and blocking someone closes chats you share with them.
How Paire AI helps
Paire AI checks chats for common scams, abuse, threats and signs of underage users. When it spots something, the person receiving the message gets a warning, abusive messages are hidden behind a tap, and our team reviews the flag. Accounts with repeated serious flags, or a message saying the sender is under 18, are hidden from discovery while we review them; if that happens by mistake, contact us and a person will review it. It never reads for anything else, and ordinary conversations aren't stored for review.
Report and block
Use Report on any profile or chat to tell us about someone breaking these rules; reports are confidential. Block ends the match immediately and hides you from each other. If you are in danger, contact local emergency services (112 in India) first.
